With his second film, Bheeshma, director Venky Kudumula, who had a strong start with Chalo, continued the triumph. Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna played the key parts in Venky's second feature film. Ultimately, the group worked together once more on a new movie. The announcement was made on Ugadi with a video in which the producers made it clear that this would not be like Chalo and Bheeshma.
