Upendra’s Kabzaa to be streaming on OTT :

Kabzaa, a commercial mass entertainment film that barely had its theatrical premiere two weeks ago, has already been given an OTT release date. OTT streaming for the film will begin on April 14th, insiders said. The fact that the movie will be available for online streaming before the 30-day window for theatrical distribution has passed is unexpected. On March 17, the film premiered across India. 

In the film office, the Upendra-Sudeep-Shivarajkumar starrer debuted to mixed reviews. The film's production crew and director, Chandru, have insisted that it made over 100 crores in just two days after its nationwide distribution. The numbers, however, have not received official confirmation. According to industry experts, Kabzaa has performed admirably in Kannada but appallingly in other languages.

In other languages, the film could not even manage to bring in Rs 10 crores in the first week, according to reports. Upendra portrays an ex-pilot turned mafia boss in the gangster drama Kabzaa, while Shriya Saran plays a princess. Despite the size of the production and the performers receiving praise, the crowd as a whole seemed unimpressed.
