After a 23-year hiatus, well-known composer V Manohar, who has directed movies like O Mallige and Indradhanush, is back behind the microphone. The storyline and dialogue for the movie Darbar were written by Sathish, who also stars as the main lead. Other important actors in the movie include Jahnvi, Sadhu Kokila, veteran actor Ashok, Lakshmi Devamma, Naveen Padil, Santhu, Kharthik, and Thriveni.
The movie is currently under post-production.
