Omar Lulu’s ‘Nalla Samayam’ Movie Promotes Substance Use :
The makers of the Omar Lulu-directed film "Nalla Samayam" have been accused of "promoting the use of substance" in the teaser by the Excise of Kerala. The filmmakers have been charged under the Abkari Act and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act by the Excise range in Kozhikode.
On Friday, the movie opened in theatres. According to a complaint, the previously released teaser contains dialogue that encourages the use of psychoactive substances and depicts their use throughout the whole movie. Actor Irshad portrays the main character in the film. For his films Happy Weddings, Chunks, Oru Adar Love, and Dhamakka, Omal Lulu is well-known.
