OTT Release Date Set for Dhanush's Directorial Debut NEEK :
The recent romantic comedy "Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam" (NEEK), directed by actor master of many trades Dhanush, is up against "Dragon" at cinemas. Alleged to have afforded a plethora of positive reviews, NEEK has failed to turn out even modestly financially. The Telugu version "Jabilamma Niku Antha Kopama" did not draw audience as well.
But now NEEK is gearing up for its streaming premiere. In a social media post, Dhanush announced the film will stream from March 21 on Prime Video, which has bought the post-theatric digital rights. The same goes for the dubbed versions, which would most probably drop on the same day. The film was only in theaters for four weeks.
NEEK features Anika Surendran, Pavish, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon and Ramya Ranganathan in lead roles. The project was produced under Dhanush's production company Wunderbar Films. GV Prakash Kumar scored the music for the film while Priyanka Mohan had a special appearance in the movie.
