Initial Meeting Linked to Lust Stories for Sidharth & Kiara? :

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra first met while shooting for their film Shershaah in 2021, which is said to have sparked the couple's subsequent romance according to initial reports on numerous websites. But Sidharth Malhotra has now revealed what actually happened when they first met. Sidharth revealed during an interview with Lilly Singh that he had first met Kiara on the set of her anthology film Lust Stories. He was thankful the short film was made, because it brought them together. In the interview, Sidharth shared that he went to the Lust Stories set to meet Karan Johar and ended up meeting Kiara as well.

Listening to Sidharth's story, Kiara revealed that she did know about the film because she had earlier gotten an earful from Karan about the film and her character. He praised the project’s intentions and heart but added that it was humorous in its own ambiguously self-directed way. Sidharth went on to commend Kiara on her "brave" movie choices, referring to performances such as her roles in Lust Stories and Guilty, which relate to harassment.

And in terms of Kiara being a positive influence on his outlook affecting family life as well as work life, he appreciated Kiara's relations lean towards robust family values to strong ethics and morals. Sidharth and Kiara announced their first pregnancy with a joint Instagram post showing them holding baby socks, on February 28, 2025.
